Sissa Drinks Poster, Artist: Alfred Koelikker 1932
Started off by drawing the main figure, scan and trace in Illustrator 
Added the vertical bars in the foreground to complete. Imported to Photoshop as a path. This allowed me to apply different blend modes as masks to different parts of the illustration.
To make the grainy background I tried using chalked sitting above a textured layer.
Then colouring appropriately, and setting the blend mode of the chalk layer to multiply.
Result.
